1.     This blog talks about the animations film and all the techniques who exists for giving the illusion of motion with the methods of drawing, painting, photographing, digitaling. We gives for each techniques the definition, a picture, and a short video to illustrate the technique. This work is divided in many parts wich are:

  part 1: Traditional animation

  part 2 :  Stop motion

  part 3 : computer animation

2. This blog contains technical and visual explanations about the different techniques of animation, from traditional methods to computer animation. In each case you will find a definition and a link to a video extract (on Youtube or Vimeo) from a film or a short film using the type of animation presented.

3. This website was created to represent various kinds of animation techniques which are not very well known, or technically hard to figure out, and moreover to make it more comprehensible and accessible for everyone who’s interested in the subject. Furthermore, we couldn’t find a dedicated website on the subject, and the only other alternative was to search each definition on wikipedia, so we figured that creating this database by ourselves could be helpful.
